Bone Fish, Permit, Snook, Marlin – Baja Peninsular

The fishing in the fertile waters off Cabo is truly spectacular all year round. Here the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez, and the massive depths of water just offshore offers a vast variety of bait fish and these small fish are pursued by, Bonito, Skipjack Tuna, to 30lb, and hunting them are our Quarry – Sailfish and Marlin, Blue, Black, and Striped, This area is commonly known as Marlin capital of the world. But 200lb Yellow fin Wahoo to a 100lb, plus Dorado’s hitting 80lb are not uncommon, The Marlin Blue and Black generally are in the 400lb-600lb class and we encourage catch and release. All Year round but April to October is best for mix and first two weeks December.

Tackle Required

Fly gear is 9 weight minimum 10 lines for Bones and Permit for Tarpon 11 weights lure fishing or bait 25lb –35lb test rod is fine. Floating line’s or sink tip systems fine.
